At MedicVan, we provide a full range of patient transfer services for a variety of organizations and institutions. We often work hand-in-hand with organizations to better serve their patients with our competent and caring assistance. Set up an account with us and you can easily arrange transportation via email for your client. Our fees are tailored to the type and level of service required, with charges based on standard pricing tables.

Long-term Care Homes & Retirement Residences

  • Punctual transfer services for residents that need regular dialysis or other medical treatments
  • Safely transport residents to scheduled doctor’s appointments
  • We’ll stay with residents during appointments if required – important when no family member or nurse is available to escort them

Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities

  • Transfer patients to nursing home beds
  • Move discharged emergency room patients
  • Provide ongoing contractual services for your hospital
  • Short-notice and same-day bookings are no problem
  • Patient-pay service or third-party billing is available

Home & Healthcare Agencies

  • Bed-to-bed service for bedridden or mobility-compromised clients to medical, dental or other appointments
  • For clients in a wheelchair or a stretcher, we can take them up or down stairs as required and stay with them as long as needed
  • For several appointments the same day in a hospital, we’ll take care of registrations and in-hospital routing
  • Special assistance for clients who wish to attend a family event

Insurance Companies & Government Agencies

  • For clients going to a doctor, specialist or courtroom, we transport them and accompany them home
  • Set up an account with us and you can easily arrange transportation via email or phone
  • Our fees are tailored to the type and level of service required
  • Charges are based on standard pricing tables
  • Coverage may be available for individuals through their own insurance coverage or WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) or ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program)
